Do stars twinkle

 We did a science experiment to find out if stars really twinkle. here are my findings. I hope you enjoy my work.

This week we have been doing a lot of writing this time we got to choose our topic. I have based mine about my weekend when I went to my nan's house. We had to put in a bunch of different types of writing. We put in different sentence starters, similes, personification, and adjectives.

Writing Week 8 Term 1 2021 Personification Poem

 In Week 7, we were learning how to write using personification.  We looked at lots of poems that had personification in them and then we had to write our own. We could choose any topic.  I chose to base mine on flax and stars.

Flax stars

 This week we have been learning with Whaea Shayne she tort us how to make a flax star and that if you cut out the three middle flax the hole bush will die. I have made a flax star of my own. The easy part was to find the flax and the hard part was to put it together.

  In Week Seven of Term 2, we did Play Make Create. This is where the teacher reads you a story and you discuss the message in the story. Then you create something based on the message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation.  This week Mrs Craig Read the book: The Day the Crayons Quit.  It was about crayons that where sad.

 I chose to create a emoji sun and bild some thing to show how unique a colour is.
