Each week we go to Garden to Table  and we do cooking or we are in the garden doing planting flowers. I like to plant flowers.

Handwriting Term 2

We have been learning to form our letters correctly and to use capital letters in the correct place.

I am good at sitting the letters on the line.

We have been working on answering basic facts questions quickly and instantly.

I am now working at Stage 4.

Golf

We have been learning how to play golf. Mr Golf came in on Thursdays and taught us skills.

I liked hitting the ball.

I am good at making the ball go far.

I need to work on my aim.

The hot air balloon race

This week we have used a picture as motivation for our writing. We had a story starter and then we had to carry on the story. What I like about my writing is that it is creative.

I need to improve on putting full stops in the right place. We also made a google draw showing the things that we would take with us in on the balloon.

The hot air balloon race

I packed some clothes, some watermelon, water, salad and carrots.
I always wanted explore the world. If I was lucky to win all that money,
I would spend it on what my mum needs. When I was on my hot air balloon,
it was cold. There were lots of hot air balloons around me. One was colourful.
The view was amazing. My friend Jayme saw a little house that looked like a
spot. I saw a little car that looked like a ant. It was so fast. It looked like a fast
mouse running away from a hungry cat.

Animal Town Writing

This week we have used another picture as motivation for our writing. We had a story starter and
then we had to carry on the story.

What I like about my writing is it's creative.

I need to improve on my spelling.

Animal Town

I am a big feisty lion that has shiny fur. “Wow! It’s so fun up here! Oh look there are meerkats
watching us maybe they want to come into our white and yellow van.The koala in the tree was
watching the little meerkats. The koala looked very small and fluffy.

“Let's let them on” We let the little mini meerkats on “Yay they are happy now!” We started to have
some fun.The parrot on the roof with me was very very happy.He was laughing so bad.I tried to stop
him from laughing.We all fell asleep and started snoring like an elephant.
